Question about Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic Motorcycles
In all Big Twin primaries, the oil level should be up to the bottom of the spring in the clutch assembly. Remove the derby cover on the primary and you'll see the clutch assembly. The assembly has a diaphragm type spring in it. It looks like a flat disc but it's usually a darker color than the bright aluminum of the clutch assembly. With the bike standing straight up, fill to bottom edge of this spring. Do not overfill or your clutch will feel like it's dragging and you will not be able to find neutral with the engine running. It should take 36-44 ounces of oil.
