Question about Harley Davidson FLHR-FLHRI Road king Motorcycles
No you will not kill the engine just because the exhaust is noisy ,right first thought is to spot weld it with a mig welder ,but then its a harley and a burnt chrome exhaust wouldnt look right ,so its back to a colin style bodge job which is to use an old coke can between the two pipes so it fills the gap between the two pipes ,now if it will not go in then buy a smaller clamp if possible ,another soloution is to use a small bolt on the inside of the clamp so it pulls the bolt in tight which forms a point similar to a weld and the clamp will tighten it .but as its on the inside it cannot be seen unless you look for it ,Myself i still think either a new smaller clamp or a spotweld on the inside
