The crankshaft seal is the only seal that could be leaking on the front of the R1200 Engine. Have you removed the cover (4 bolts) to check what is actually going on?

Depending on where you live, your bike may still be under warranty. 3 years/36K miles in USA. 3 years unlimited miles in Canada. You should have a dealer look it over and possibly fix it under warranty.

Location of oil pressure sensor for 2005 H2 Hummer

The oil pressure sensor is behind the intake manifold. Remove the plastic cover on top of the engine. The intake manifold is the large black plastic piece under the cover. Reach in behind the intake manifold to access the oil pressure sensor. The pictures supplied show the view from the back of the engine, as if you are viewing from the firewall side of the engine

Oil leak

There is a timing cover gasket behind the water pump.
You may have to clean off the block to find the leak. Mechanics can use dye in the oil and a black light.

Oil leak front engine timing chan

1995 Tracker would have a timing BELT. Normal oil leak points (in order) on a Suzuki G16 engine are the distributor base (rear of motor), valve cover (top of motor), front main seal (behind lower timing belt cog) cam seal (behind the upper timing belt cog) and rear main seal. (behind the flywheel). I'd suspect the front main seal or cam seal. I use foot power to help find oil leaks.

Water leaking underneath the motor

A little leakage is normal. Also the A/C will drip water, but that comes down from the firewall area.

From the motor, it may indicate a leaky water pump. This will drip from the front of the engine which is the right side as the driver looks. The pump is located under the timing belt cover.

Also check all your large hoses to see if a leak has developed at any joint.

The V6 engine often develops a water leak under the intake manifold which is hard to see. The water appears on top of the transmission. Camrys will often also get a split in the plastic radiator top tank, so look there.

If you are not losing large amounts of water, you have a while to track it down at leisure !

2008 VW passat, noticed noise coming from engine, thought the plastic cover was loose, then today the low oil pressure light came on. There was no oil on dip stick so had to add 3 quarts. exhaust pipe is...

This is not good. Keep check on the oil. Find the oil leak. Fix the oil leak. With any luck you may have not trashed the engine. If the leak is from the drain plug or oil filter. go back to the shop that did the oil change. Seek recourse. Most likely you destroyed the bearings. Listen for bottom of the engine knock/ noise.

How much of the front of the engine has to come apart to change the water pump 1994 pathfinder

everything. pump is located behind the timing cover. you will need to take off the timing belt to replace the pump. Do your self a favor and replace all components that are located behind that cover (cam seals, crank seal and timing belt)its all inthere behind the cover. it would be foolish not to do that, since its all inside. you can develop an oil leak behind the cam sprockets (cam seals), which would mean that you have to take it apart again to replace it.

Where is the oil filter on a 2006 cobalt

Remove oil filler cap and dipstick. Pull up to remove large balck plastic engine cover. Tabs are at rear left and lower front right (facing engine). Large (1-1/16") Black plastic hex cap is cover for oil filter, fron of engine between motor and transfer case. Best to use special tool that fits 3/8" socket extension(about $12 - Search fro Lisle 14700 Wrench) since adjustable wrench doesn't fit well. Replace cartrideg and O-ring, then reinstall in reverse order.

My R1200RT LE has only done 30 miles and two days old, but the front left hand fork has oil around the top rubber

Take it back to the dealer for inspection. The fluid may be coming from the "Telelever" this should be covered under warranty. It could also be fluid from a few other sources, no matter what if the bike is two days old just swing back by the dealer, the should be glad to help.
