My bike bike runs on main tank even on low somtimes shows some missing. I think my reserve tank doesn't work.Any suggestions?

Check the reserve fuel line and the main fuel line to make sure they haven't been switched. I purchased a Suzuki Intruder and was riding all the way to reserve to check the mileage and when I ran out I couldn't start it even though I switched to reserve. Turns out that someone had the tank off to service the air cleaner and had reversed the two fuel lines so the fuel valve was running the bike on the reserve tank tube. so when I switched to the reserve position it was hooked to the taller brass tube in the tank and the gas level was already below it. The tanks just have two brass tubes, one taller than another so gas cannot be sucked below the taller tube when on main and then when switched to reserve it sucks from the shorter tube allowing the remaining gas to be used.

I have a2006 Suzuki cb90 800cc water cool where do I put the water at and check see if it full.. tks

I believe you actually have a Suzuki "C50" model if it is in fact a 800cc engine. There is a large chrome engine side cover on the left REAR of the engine(do not remove the front engine side cover) that is held in place with 4mm allen head screws. The coolant reserve tank is under this cover. There is actually a slot in the cover for external viewing however it very hard to see the coolant level through the slot. If the reserve tank is dry I would recommend removing the radiator cap located under the fuel tank(when engine is cold of course) to verify that the cooling system is full then fill the reserve tank also.

Remove the 4 allen head screws on the black radiatir cover. Cap is on top of radiator. Also check reserve tank located under left rear chrome engine cover, also held in place with allen head screws.

Suzuki intruder 800vs backing through carbs

May not be getting enough fuel, check the filtre in the fuel tank, remove fuel ****,(fuel on/ fuel off/ reserve).( has rubber o ring type gasket), could also be a kink in the fuel line, check or replace spark plug's, you also may need to test your fuel pump with meter, check out intruder alert cafe, lot's of good advice there.

When i switch to reserve tank nothing happens out of gas

there is a chance that the oulet tube for the reserve (in the tank) is clogged---i suggest you remove the petcock and clean it thoroughly.

I am wondering what size tank and aprox. gas mileage I can expect if I but this bike.

Smallish tank about 2.5 gal and you will get about 100 to 110 miles to a tank before reserve

My VL250 is dying after i switch to reserve, it idles ok but as soon as i open thr throttle in gear it dies. this problem continues after i refill the tank and switch back to main tank.

When you switch to the Reserve position, fuel is drawn from the bottom of the tank (vs. from a tube sticking up about 2" from the bottom, when in the On position). Something is either blocking the flow of fuel into the Reserve inlet on the petcock, or the rubber seal inside the petcock is coming apart and blocking the flow of fuel. Either way, drain all of the gasoline from the tank and remove the petcock so you can see what's going on in there.

Wanting to drain my gas tank on my (2002 Suzuki VL 800 Intruder Volusia). Trying to find out which line to unplug to drain the tank...

You would need to unplug both lines..
One line is for "gas" the other is "reserve"..

The tank has two wells onside..

Have a great day !

How do I know if am getting good mileage?

Pull the tank and unscrew the fuel petcock to look at the screens on the fuel intakes. If there is crud on the screen it might not feed after a certain level (75 miles) and runs ok when feeding from the Res intake. Easy job don't be afraid to tackle it. Easier if the tank is near empty to begin with.
