F1 is an ignition (spark) module failure.
check for power to the ignition module, ignition fuse to your battery.
if you find voltage to the module but, no spark replace the module.

My Kawasaki zx6r 2009 keeps displaying f1 and with a flashing red light. The bike runs fine. Sometimes shuts off while warming up. how do I fix it?

it actually means fault indicator and doesn't deal solely with the fuel injection.

put the key in the ignition and turn it on, but don't start the bike. use the mode button to go to the odometer display, then hold the mode button down for 2 seconds. the code should be displayed.

come back when you have the code

2002 Honda CBR 954 RR Fireblade the red f1 light keeps flashing

Hi, Anonymous, it should be noted that the reasons your EFI light stays on constantly or flashes and your bike will or will not start and may turn over or not, these conditions will vary from bike to bike depending on the year, make, and model and you should always refer to your owners/service manual for proper diagnostic procedures. It should also be noted that any type of prior work done to the bike or an abnormal event occurrence IE: adding accessories, electrical curiosity/adventures, laying bike down/crashes, rainstorms/bike washings just before EFI light issues started can be significant hints/aids into tracking down the gremlin, also carry the appropriate jumper wire to access fault codes to reduce the risk of being stranded or towed, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty Fuel Pump, fuse or system relay switch.
2. Battery starting to fail due to old age/damage, perform a load test.
3. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Faulty switches/sensors: run/off, ignition, clutch lever, neutral, side stand, tip over, fuel, and or their connections.
5. Broken wire or worn insulation exposing wire to a ground situation especially inside wire harness at tight bends around fairing brackets, under dash panels, under fuel tanks over cylinder heads etc. Many harnesses are open on the ends that will allow water to enter and accumulate at v-bends.
Dielectric grease and contact cleaner are your best friends for wire/cable/harness connectors, look for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.

F1 light on but bike runs how do i reset the f1

Unless you want to buy a code reader, you must take the bike to a dealer and have them hook one up to see what problem the sensors have found. They can hit the reset button but the light is going to turn on again when the sensor find the problem is still present. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

My bike gsxr 1000 is indicating F1 in the digital meter & i wanted to know what it is

F1 means there is a fault stored for the Suzuki agent to read, repair and remove.
The fault could be anything from a fuel injection/engine management error to a low battery.

My 08 gsxr 600 died while I was riding it, I got a new battery and it started up fine, but when I got home I shut it down, then tried to start it up again and it wouldn't start. All the lights are on and...

I would check your connections and grounds. I would check the voltage of the battery with the bike off and then compare it to the voltage when the bike is running to see if the battery is charging. Your may have enough voltage to run lights but not enough amperage to crank. Is the new battery full of acid? silly question but I have seen this happen before, the guy puts the wrong amount in it.
Check your fuses too. I would verify that its charging before trying to chase down any current draws of shorts.

Electrical ( & engine ) shut down Harley

Make sure that you have the updated wire loom installed for the ignition switch. There was an additional relay installed because of overheating. That would also cause you bike to die. Pull the fairing and check for burnt wires. but also check to make sure that there is an additional harness attached to the ignition switch, between the ignition switch and the harness going to the rear of the bike ( on the right side of the frame towards to top.

How to enter into BIOS when trackpoint was broken.

Hi there.
Its something to do with the trackpoint, possibly the cable has become loose.
* If an emergency power down is made by switching the system off during or while an application is open, then immediately switching the system on creates a 8611 error.
* Repeatedly turning power off and back on without properly shutting down or allowing the system to shut itself down.

Solution
Wait at least 6 seconds or longer after shutting down the system or before restarting to correct the 8611 error.
See if that gets rid of the error, if not it could be a loose cable to the trackpoint.

Good luck

Problem with my sharp AR 336 code F1-05

Hello, this is a sorter bin home sensor fault. First shut down machine and disconnect all power. You will need to remove the front and rear covers of the sorter, then you will have to manually turn the spindles/ cams as to more the actuator off of the home switch. Once you have released the home switch/ sensor, give a little extra space -- apply the power and watch. The cams should move the bins to switch/ sensor and reposition. Once you have made sure that it is working, shut down the power and disconnect power. Install covers back onto sorter and apply the power. If, when the power is applied before you installed cover, if the cams keep driving and do not stop and code comes back, that bin home switch will need to be replaced.
