Question about 2005 Suzuki SV 1000 S
I have a 2003 SV1000S. The horn isn't working so I started to look for it. I can't find it. I don't want to strip the whole bike down to find that it is somewhere obvious and I'm just not seeing it. Can anyone help?

SOURCE: 2003 suzuki sv1000 engine knock
You're big end bearings are just about to give out. I've just rebuilt two * 2003 SV1000 engines where the bearings had failed.
Get it done now and save your engine!!!

You have a cap on the radiator and an expansion tank hiding in there somewhere. I would check them both. Your coolant should be fine, may need just a little filling. Unless you are cooking something. My bike is a 02 and I have not had to even check the coolant. Also, if you have a water temp gauge that reads in degrees and not a light, the temp of the bike should relate to the air temp, while running, not city, If it says, 185, the outside air is 85, If it reads 192, outside air is 92, etc. . Check it out.
