There is unnecessary noise when the engine is running and hard to start, the spark plug is always wet like an oil

As for the noise in the engine, could be alot of things. If your plug is very oily, then it's probably fouled. That would make it difficult to start & possibly run rough. Pretty common with 2 strokes. Sounds like your mixture on your fuel has too much oil in it when you mix it. Make sure you're mixing your fuel properly then I would check on rebuilding and adjusting your carb if your fuel mix is right. Hope this helps

What kind of oil do i need to mix in a 2002 yz 125?

You have a 2 stroke dirt bike, off road only, without oil injection. Get a gallon of 2 stroke oil, get the mix from the owners manual or the dealer, should be about 1 pint per tank? Or 4 oz per gallon. It might be more. Don't try to get away with burning motor oil in there, it won't work, it will overheat the engine and could do some damage. Hope this helps.

I'm getting fuel in the crankcase oil of my 1994 YZ 125

Unless I am mistaken, (Honda guy myself, not fully up to date on mid to late 90's Yamaha) it is a 2 stroke so fuel air mix runs through the crankcase anyway but, excessive amounts are usually caused by a stuck needle valve in the carb. If it is getting into the gearbox oil then you probably have a bad crank shaft seal which requires major surgery.

Good luck hope this helps.

Oil level YZ 125

Hello....for the crank case you will want to use Yamalube 4 (10w-30) or an equivalent SAE 10W-30 SE motor oil. There is not a dip stick on the bike, Need to measure teh oil in accordance with Yamaha specs. You will need to check the owners manual or contact the local dealer service department and should be able to tell you how much needs to be added. If you don't have good 1qt mix cup you can get one at a good motorcycle shop. These are very help full in accurately measuring your premix oil for the fuel as well. Hope this helps

Oil is a grey colour in the engine of my yz 125 2001

Your bike is water cooled. Some of that water is leaking into the gear box. The cylinder gasket is the likely leak. I would let the shop take a look at it instead of trying to fix it yourself.

But be sure there is not an external source for the water. Do you wash the bike often? Ride the creek bed often? Leave the bike where the lawn sprinkler gets the bike wet? Leave it out in the rain? Change the oil and keep the bike dry. If the problem comes back then go see the dealer.

Water leak/mixing with oil

change the seal behind the water pump impeller
the shifter shaft seal will stop leaking
if it continues to mix water and oil you will have to change the head gasket
