This sounds like a typical case of gas going bad and possible rust in your gas tank. Best to drain ALL gas from your tank - if you can easily remove it - take off the petcock and rinse the tank with fresh gas - look for any flakes of rust in the gas you drain out. Once you have the tank fully flushed - clean or replace your fuel filter and I would suspect that it will run just fine.
If you are not going to ride for an extended time frame - add Fuel Stabilizer" to the tank before putting it up. This is available at your local auto parts store. You will thank yourself for taking this precaution.

Why did I was my 2005 Ultra Classic trike engine shut off while driving, start back up, went a few miles, before shutting off? Is that the kill switch malfunctioning?

Sounds like you may be low on oil. Bike runs until oil is pumped on top of engine, and not enough remains to coat the sensor. Engine shuts off, oil returns to reservoir, bike runs again....i guess that's why they call it a motor cycle....

My engine stops suddenly while running....i tried pushing the bike to revive the engine. after a few minutes, engine starts.and suddenly, the same problem occurs.please help...

It would help to know the year/manufacturer/model of the machine in question. This symptom can be caused by various problems, but I have found that it is usually from thermal breakdown of electronic systems such as the cdi, transistorized, or electronic ignition. How long do you have to let the bike rest or cool down before you are able to start it again and how long does it run for before it shuts down?

My bike hasnt been ridden for a few months, and you need to give it full choke to start and keep it going, it wont idle when the choke is depressed, It is A Vstar 650 Classic

was fuel left in the carburetors when you parked it your metering jets might be slightly clogged with varnish i dont recomend opening them yourself take it to a professional and next time you park it for an extended period of time close the fuel valve and leave the bike running until the carbs run out of gas "the bike will stop running when this happens"

Nightrod stops firing a few seconds after starting

Probably fuel system has trash in it, The oil light comes on after engine dies would be right as the ignition is still on and no oil pressure.Fuel stabilizer may have caused trash to break free and stop up the system. Also vacuume to fuel shutoff could be off or stopped up too.

Honda XR125 L-4 3 month old battery, Bike has engine has started to die, exhaust goes pop (backfire?), engine cuts out all together, battery almost completely dead wont restart bike, starter just clicks...

put a volt meter across the battery terminals, should read over 12v stopped and rise to 13.5v with the engine running.
If the voltage doesnt rise there is a problem with the charging circuit.
Be carefull starting from a car, as this can cause damage to the bikes electrics, as the bike tries to produce enough amps to charge up the car when the bike starts, and overcook electrics.

Yamaha TW 200 starts but won't run.

If the bike has sat for a long period of time without being run - the gas that is sitting in the carb(s) will shellac.. Then the carb(s) would need to be cleaned and "rebuilt"..

The bike will not go into neutral gear when engine running. But will easily when engine not running?

Try entering neutral from 2nd instead of 1st. Most bikes will find neutral alot easier with the engine off. My Kawasaki has a positive neutral finder which i love....but i have owned 48 bikes and had more than a few stubborn ones....Try rocking forward and backward as you gently toe tap your lever in the direction of neutral....be patient and you'll get better at it...Good Luck to you friend...Tim
