Is your choke on when this happens? Using any kind of choke will cause the bike to rev higher than normal.

The knob that you can see protruding from one side of the bike is the idle control. If you've never messed with it before, there shouldn't be a need to seriously adjust it now, but that's not saying that someone else hasn't touched it.

Ok surgeing means too much air choke on ? possibly

air leak more likely

air fuel mix possibly

have you made any alterations to the bike before this problem ?

first thing id check is do you have a leak water mist or smoke around the airbox will allow u to see leaks ( air movement is made visable its a old trick ) also if u compleatly cover the air intake whyle running the bike shuld die from lack of air if it dont u can guess its getting air from somewhere

if u have checked and there is definatly no leak we can look at other options

1991 Kawasaki ZXR 750 service manual

Hi, Anonymous the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee of $15 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available and some were never printed in English. The Indian and Philippine markets are usually in E-book format only, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. If there is no $ sign after the manual link it is free to download.

Idol to high

You have to adjust your idle screw on the side of the motor ...it should be by your carb. Turn your bike on and then turn that screw to the left until your motor calms down and has the correct idle speed.

your bike has too less gasoline. check the filter inside your tank.
check if the pipe for petrol is not snapped off.
maybe your carburators are dirty. undo them and clean the float lever and its needle valves.
and check the idle jet and all the other jets

When i start my vehicle on it will immediately start idoling and when i drive it it idols as well the idol or whatever like i dont know if it idols ubt it does shake

it sounds like the engine is "starving" meaning the mass air controle is not set right same thing happends to same exact truck only way to find out without a mechanic is take off the plastic on the engine and look in the top back of the engine and there should be a black plastic piece with a metal bar going into a metal piece if the plastic piece is not in the grove then it has to be fixed so it dosnt come out of it(idk how to fix it but in can be rigged to stay in the groove)

Idols then starts to rev up all by its self

OK, there should be a warmed up idle adjustment on this bike on the carbs under the tank (like my 1985 Honda Interceptor). Maybe it's set too high. On my bike the screw has a knob on it for easy adjustment.

On the Kawasaki motorcycles I'm ot sure if they had this feature.
But, if they don't, then a screwdriver should be enough to turn the idle adjustment screw.

Also, check for kinked cables for the throttle.

Happy biking!

My idol screw needs 2 b ajusted 2 factory settings

No you are confusing the idle screw (a thumb-screw) with the air/mixture screws, these are turned inwards (clockwise) until they lightly seat & then back out the specified amount
You should have the bike tuned by a professional who should include synchronising the carbs, this will let the engine run more smoothly, idle at lower revs ,increase speed & all-round performance speed

Bike wont idol below 2 grand

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Almost always, the described idling problem would be a carb issue. The carbs set has to be pulled down, fully dis-assembled, all non-rubber parts soaked in carb cleaner and cleaning be done specially on the jets and pin holes.

In some instances high idle could be caused by a vacuum leak in any of the rubber coupling between the carbs and the intake manifolds.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

How do i adjust the idol on a 2005 honda shadow 600

Should be a black knob right near carb, if not it is the flathead screw on the side of the carb slide body.
