Question about 1986 Yamaha FJ 1100
whats the best way to get the ignition barrel out of its housing to change for a new 1 ?
looks like anti -tamper bolts ?
Its a 1991 FJ 1200., ( but unable to list this on your model celection )
Cheers mate, Graham
If the bolts are the allen/hex/torx kind with a dot in the middle, just put a small flat head in there and remove that dot, or go buy some security bits.
If it's any other kind of bolt, use a file and cut a flat groove into the bolt, then either use a chisel and light taps with a hammer, or use a flat head screwdriver to unscrew it.
