Did a flasher fuse hazzards work still no directionals

If 10A FUSE 24 in the fuse block is OK, power is getting to the hazard switch to turn on the flasher unit and send its output through the turn signal switch to the front turn lights and rear combination lights. If the replacement flasher unit is not defective, the turn signal switch could be defective or there could be a problem with the lights although it's unlikely.

Where to find the turn signal flasher?

Unfortunately Nissan in it's infinite wisdom decided that it should tie the turn signal flasher and hazard flasher which are useally combined but on an independant circuitwhich only made the front and rear turn signal lights flash as well as the indicator lights in your dash telling you which direction you had selected. They were in no way related to any other circuits, have incorporated these into the body control module. Consequently if you don't have a flasher, you have to buy a body control module. First try operating the hazard flasher mode. It will work even if there ar some bulbs blown. If you have one blown bulb a flasher may operate slower on that side or not at all depending on it's design. Try the other direction if it doesn't work in that direction either, it's probably the flasher or in this case body control module.

My turning lights don't work there come on don't flash everything else work

If the turn signal lights come on but they do not flash, the problem probably is the flasher. Turn on your 4 - way hazard lights, and see if the front and rear signal light flash. If they do, then the directional flasher probably is bad.

My flashers and emergency flashers do not work. Is there a relay flasher on my car or is it the lighting control module that needs to be replaced?

Your problem lays into the directional switch only. The flashers in the car cetainly will not go out at the same time. There are two flashers, one for 4 ways and one for directionals. When a wire to the directional switch shorts out the switch becomes totally inoperatable. This does happen usually from a bad soldered joint from getting to hot

Were is the flasher for left rear light

There is one flasher that controls all 4 turn signals. If only one light is not flashing the flasher relay is not the problem. If the flasher relay is bad none of them will flash. Check the bulb. The Turn signal flasher relay is located front seating area. It is integral to the hazard switch located in the center of the instrument panel, just above the radio. Curtorsey: Auto Zone

87 Jeep Comanche, turn signal issues

You will find that there are two flasher units on the fuse panel. Turn on the four ways to identify which flasher serves that circuit. Then, move the flasher to the other position (where the signal flasher is) Your directionals should then work. You then can buy another flasher and install it when you have a chance, putting it in the 4 way position. The 4 ways get used so infrequently, you always have a reliable spare signal flasher there!

TURN SIGNAL, BRAKE & HAZARD LIGHTS

No Turn Signal Operation (blinker)The turn signal lights in your car are a basic electrical system that controls the front and rear blinker lights to alert the intended direction of the vehicle. We have listed some of the most common problems and repair troubleshooting tips below:
Troubleshooting Procedure
To start troubleshooting this problem:
  • Turn the key to the on position (do not start engine)
  • Inspect the system fuse located in the fuse panel and replace if needed. If you cannot find the location of the blinker fuse consult your owner's manual or an online repair manual
  • When a blinker flasher fails it can cause blinker lights to say on, not blink, or not go on at all. To test the blinker system flasher, remove the flasher unit and insert a jumper wire between the two terminals. If blinker stays on in both directions without blinking, replace the flasher. If you cannot find the location of the blinker flasher consult your owners manual or an online repair manual.
