2003 Yamaha XJR 1300 battery removal

How do I access the battery on my yamaha FJR 1300 for removal and charging? Does the larger bottom fairing have to be removed? JMT

This happens when the parts of gear box is not proper due to misalignment. hence service the gear box first.... also change the oil and all the ball bearings of the gear box ... lubricate every parts in gear box.

when sitting on the bike the battery cover is under the right black cover that fits between the r/h fairing panel and the fuel tank and dash,it is in 2 parts and you only need to remove the first panel to access the battery.

    if your bike is similar to an fj,you should lift the seat and battery is underneath in its own compartment to remove it,undo the rubber retaining strap the terminals and breather tube,battery lifts out vertically
