Hi ,
Check you have fuel going in the cylinder .
If so your fuel could be faulty or too old or water may have be mixed with it .
It is a fuel problem or timing issue .

Cold engin, started with ign switch, bike was in n, kick std up, kept idling out. Bat good, fuel good. won't even turn over. Manual said to ignite with throttle all the way open, tried that, no go

IF IT WONT TURN OVER, THE STARTER CLUTCH MAY BE DEFECTIVE!
IF IT TURNS BUT DOESN'T START,CHECK IF YOU HAVE POWER TO THE IGNITION COIL (power ON), FROM THERE TO THE SPARK PLUGS; LIKE TAKE ONE OUT LEAVE IT CONNECTED TO ITS WIRE LAYING ON THE ENGINE AND SEE IF IT SPARKS WHEN YOU DO THE START PROCEDURE. IF THERE IS NO SPARK, YOU KNOW THAT THE COIL IS BAD.

CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE FIRST IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT REPLACE BATTERY HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECKED.IF BATTERY GOOD.HAVE VECHICLE SCAN FOR PCM PROBLEMS - CRANKSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS OR CAMSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS.IF ALL IS GOOD GET A SPARK TESTER AND FUEL PUMP PRESSURE GAUGE TESTER.IF GETTING NO SPARK PROBLEM COULD BE LOOSE BAT.POWER SUPPLY WIRES AT IGNITION COIL MODULE OR IGNITION MODULE FAULTY.IF FUEL PUMP NOT RUNNING CHECK FUSE ABD RELAY IF BOTH IS GOOD FUEL PUMP FAULTY.

2001 Will crank but wont start

Hi , these trucks are notorious for fuel pump issuse. (I have 2 in the shop now).First check for spark if spark is present then we need to check for fuel.if a presure gauge is avail, install the gauge and crank the engine.if presure increases to 50-60 psi fuek is probably not the issue. now if a gauge is not avail you can remove the air cleaner/snorkle assy.spray some carb cleaner in the throttle body, then try to start if (if it starts for a second the problem if fuel.now if it starts go under by the fuel tank, reach up (from the drivers side and unplug the fuel pump plug (4 wire) have some one crank the engine ande check for battery power on gray wire durring cranking,if battery power is present check black wire for good ground.if both power and grounds are present pump is no good.if now power then swap the fuel pump relay w/ same design relay (in the underhood relay center) relays are also a known issue w. the s and t trucks, good luck Thanks

No start

have you tried replacing the fuse on the overload protection relay? This is located behind the battery, behind a thin plastic sub panel which houses the relay and other electronics. The relay is about 1 1/2" square X 2" tall, and has a flip cover to get to the fuse or fuses. Some models have a single 10A fuse, others have two. You might check these before going to much further. I have found that by jumping the car, you can blow the fuses, and very possibly the OVP as well. Good lock!
