Misfires at low revs, clears above 2500 3000 revs. very bad when going round a corner with a feathered throttle

Sounds like a spark plug needs to be changed. To be safe, I would advise that you do a regular tune up to the machine soon, as this is an indication of dirt lingering in your system.

I have a mac 436 chainsaw that starts but dosent rev up cleanly if you give it to much throttle it dies you have to feather the throttle all the time and wont reach full revs?


The carb need reset but most likely the diaphragm in carb is bad it's common it gets gummed up with oil realy grease at this point because the gas evape out of the oil especially when the mixture is left in the saw and stored turn oil to goo
