If nothing is wrong with the wheel, check your owners manuel for torque specs and tighten the lug nuts in a criss cross pattern to torque spec. Is this what you needed or am i missing something?

00Linc ls new tires rebalanced also tire rod replaced sounds like running on snow tires from front end. What's going on?


No IFS ANDS OR BUTS.........WHEEL ALIGNMENT. Also have the alignment shop check if the tires where installed properly of course ! Some tires are mounted with FOWARD TREAD ONLY !. Some tires have that feature.

I have a 99 expedition I had the tires changed I put smaller tires on it to get rid of the mud tires now my front end shakes like it has 2 flats


more than likely there is some component damage ,linkages, tire rod ends, vibration dampener the shock looking thing under front end , connecting left to right on steering link.

If the tie rod end has been changed, you will need to adjust the toe in by dropping the tie rod end from its connection to arm. Not the steering rod. Tighten or loosen the tie rod end on the steering rod until there is a slight toe in. Re install the tie rod end into the steering rod. If there is too much toe in, the wheels will spread when in reverse and steering is impossible. It may take several attempts to set the toe in properly. When proper adjustment is met, steering will be easier or as it should be.

How do i change rear wheel tire in isuzu trooper


Loosen lugs first. Chock opposite front wheel. Put emerengcy brake on. Jack up vehicle where the rear spring meets with the frame. Raise vehicle about 1 inch swap tires. Install lugs snug. Lower vehicle till tire just touches the ground then tighten lugs. Finish lowering the jack and remove chock place both in vehicle.
Start truck, release jack and continue on your way. Make sure spare has proper amount of air. If not go to gas station and fill tire. If low on air do not go over 30 mph. Hope this helps.

Remove the front tire?


Put the bike on a front stand, remove the wheel assembly and use the proper tools to remove and re install the tire after removing the wheel weights and the air from the tire. If you do not have the proper tire tools then remove the wheel/tire and take it to a shop to have the tires switched out. If you do not have the proper stand to allow you to get the front tire off take the bike to a shop and let them do what they are trained for. Either way unless you have a tire balancer you will have to get a shop to balance it for you.

I have trouble steering...the truck wanders over the road...i have replaced idler arms, pitman arm, center link, shocks, brakes, new tires, front end alignment, bearings...the right front tire sits...


when the steering wheel is centred, the front wheels should both point slightly inwards.
after the amount of parts changed, i would recommend that you get the tracking checked at a garage using the proper, calibrated measuring systems, to make sure that the steering is set up properly and safely.

Cannot install front tire because the front brake calipers will not open up


With the tire not installed, push the brake calipers together and release the brake cable from one side, this should allow the calipers to spread fully. Now, install the wheel/tire into the calipers. Next, move the tire/wheel assembly around to get enough play to squeeze the calipers together and reinstall the cable in it's proper mounting location. Last, mount the wheel and tighten the axle.

How tight should the nut be on the front wheel bearings for a 2006 f250 two wheel drive.


  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  3. Support the front end.
  4. Remove the wheel cover, if equipped.
  5. Remove the grease cap.
    NOTE Check the wheel bearings for sufficient grease.
  6. Remove the cotter pin and retaining washer. Back off the spindle nut. Discard the cotter pin.
  7. Adjust the wheel bearings as follows:
    1. Tighten the spindle nut to 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm) while rotating the brake disc clockwise to seat the wheel bearings.
    2. Back off the nut 2 full turns.
    3. While rotating the disc counterclockwise, tighten the nut to 17-24 ft. lbs. (23-34 Nm).
    4. Back off the spindle nut about 1 / 2 turn.
    5. Tighten the spindle nut to 17 inch lbs. (2 Nm).

  8. Install the retaining washer so the castellations are aligned with the cotter pin hole. Install a new cotter pin.
  9. Check the wheel and tire assembly for proper rotation, then install the grease cap. If the wheel still does not rotate properly, inspect and clean or replace the wheel bearings and cups.
  10. Install the wheel cover, if equipped.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Road test the vehicle and check for proper operation.

To check the wheel bearing adjustment, raise the front of the vehicle. Grasp the tire at the sides, and alternately push inward and pull outward on the tire. If any looseness is felt, adjust the front wheel bearings as follows.
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Remove the hub cap from the hub.
  3. Remove the cotter pin and the castellated nut.
  4. While rotating the wheel, tighten the adjusting nut to 21 ft. lbs. (28 Nm) to seat the bearings.
  5. Back off the adjusting nut until loose (120-180 degrees).
  6. While rotating the wheel, tighten the adjusting nut to 18 inch lbs. (2Nm). Torque required to rotate the hub should be 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
  7. Install the castellated nut and insert a new cotter pin.
  8. Install the hub cap

Hum from front drivers side wheel bearing changed


Two possible problems both related to that bearing change. 1. Was the bearing packed with grease before it was installed? If not, another new bearing is required properly packed with grease. They don't come packed when you by the bearing, only lubed.
2. Incorrect torque on wheel bearing bolt. If you do not have the specs. a good rule of thumb is with the nut just slightly tight and the wheel and tire installed but jacked up, spin the tire by hand and tighten the bolt to a point that the tire will not make 1 full revolution. JUST! ie. 355 degrees.
