Diagnosing a problem with my dirt bike

Hey you gave me a very good solution to my problem but the fuel filter was not the problem.. I did notice when going back over the bike that I never bothered to check the crank case and its level of oil in it. I did notice that it was pretty dam close to bone dry you think this could be my problem and and maybe why I had the throttle stick on me once when riding???

Hey iv got as GV650 Aquila it wont start the motor turns over no problem but wont Start any suggestions?

check for spark plugs and try to push start button at the same time while the fuel pump motor refreshes. there is also a fuel filter through the fuel is pumped to the jets. if this filter is jammed by dirt particles then also you can experience the same problem.

Fuel supply system problems. Take by your auto parts store, they may help by reading the error codes to diagnose the problem. My best guess is fuel pump or fuel pump relay, or fuel filter.

Need to find where the fuel strainer goes on 2007 hyundai sonata

Did you go to buy a fuel filter and they gave you a strainer kind of filter?
Many vehicles now days do not have a servicable filter. They just use the sock, or strainer, that is inside the fuel tank.
Really does not make good sense to me because fuel pick ups have always had a type of strainer filter and the external servicable filter would still catch dirt. So now without that servicable external filter where does the dirt go.

Most likely your vehicle does not have an external filter and what you got was an in-tank filter.

My intruder 125 lost power last night, it idled ok but wouldn't pull away in 1st gear and stalled, i gave it some revs in nuetral and there was a loud bang! it went ok after that!!!

Sounds like it got a little dirt in the carb and was blocking a fuel jet. As the engine runs OK on the idel jet but thwe main had something in it, As you reved the engine it was too lean as the jey was clogged but the lean engine backfired and the resulting pop dislodged the dirt and now everything is back to normal. being careful where you get your fuel and cleaning the filter screen in the gas tank and any inline filters may help. If your bike sits for a long time it's a good idea to fill it all the way up before you park it. of course it does'nt always work out this way and as the gas evoraperates it'll leave deposits in the fuel lines and carborater and as these get washed up with the freash gas it can get stuck in things. The dried fuel will dissolve in the freash gas, and the bike will go back to normal.

5. Faulty system and or ignition relay, check for continuity.
6. Faulty ignition coil, ignition/electronic module.

Loss of acceleratiion

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, postback abd describe what has been done on the bike. Are the air filters stock or aftermarket open breathers? Are the exhaust stock? Was there any recent work done on the carbs? Was the bike on storage or is it for everyday use and the problem just came up.

Offhand check for air leaks on the air filter side, fuel starvation caused by kinked fuel line or cloggd / blocked fuel cut-off valve.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

Carburetor float stuck, probably some sediment that got past the filter. If not that then check your fuel lines coming from the tank to the fuel pump or filter.

Zzr 600 carb probs

did you turn the fuel petcock back to the "on" position? ok that checks good step 2 maybe the filter is clogged. try changing the filter. or make sure that lack of fuel is causing the no start issue.
