Question about 2005 Honda CG 150 Titan ESD

I bought a honda CG 150 battery 7 months ago and it is not starting my bike anymore. It seems to be going dead. What should I do?

The stator or the voltage regulator is bad. more likely it is the Voltage Regulator.

87 f-150 starting problems

Take your battery somewhere and have it load tested. If it tests good it has to be your starter. The alternator has to be working or you would have a dead battery all the time. Unless you are putting it on a charger or jumping it.

Possible dead spot on starter. Try rapping on the starter with a piece of wood.

Electrical Problem

Your alternator/generator must be not working. If it works, it should be able to recharge the battery when your bike is running.

Strong battery 14 volts, strong spark in spark plug, good compression, carb just overhauled, still won't start, what seems to be the problem?

All of this has to happen at the proper time ... if you have good spark, fuel and air at the proper time, it has to run. Check time.

Hi folks, Was caught out in very heavy rain with my CG 125 and after 15 mins the bike started to backfire and a few minutes later cut out completely, after standing still for a little while it started...

you have water in your electrical system ..the coils on cg are well known fro small cracks ..get a new one fit it should be ok /.....also spray wd40 on all electricals every couple of weeks especially under the tank

Can't start my Honda CB400-Four 1997. Battery seems to be ok. Could it be the Regulator/Rectifier? It has been lying up over the winter. It did start a couple of weeks ago, cut out and hasn't

if the headlight dies right out when you crank the motor then the battery is usually dead. It may read on a voltmeter that it has 12 volts but that does not necessarily mean the battery is charged.Have the battery checked and charged properly then try and start the bike again.Regards

Put in new battery week later will not start the bike crf 150 how to troube shoot charging system bike is approx 13 months old

Need digital voltmeter for a start...if you havent got one it will need to go to Tech to check charging system.

If you do have one it must charge at least 13.2volts to charge battery. May have "leakage" from somewhere as well.

My lamps burnt, it seems that the voltage is not longer being regulated, it's any other component other that the regulator that could make this happen?

hi,generally speaking there are no other components that regulate the voltage from the generator,first thing i would do though is start the bike,and check the voltage across the battery,if the voltage is more than about 14.8-15.0v then the regulator is suspect,another way to check is put the voltmeter across the battery and get its reading at idle,then slowly lift the rpm up to about 3000-3500 rpm,the reading shouldnt change by about more than 1-1.5 volts across the rev range,if it does then the regulater is faulty..hope this helps...cheers

Battery going dead

The battery regulator may not be functioning properly. At times it will send a charge to the battery and at times it won't. This is normal, but if it is not allowing the battery to receive current when it should then there is a problem. Another possibility is a loose connection in the wiring. I would check the connections first.
