Hi
1.there wil be a junction box/relay connecting all these functions. the junction box/relay may be burnt out so the power to the particular parts may be affected so please check the junction box.

2.the wil be fuses for each set of components so check the fuse there is the possiblities that the fuses may be blownout.

3.check weather power to tha relay/junction box is there. check with the multimeter.if you have the power to the junction box the problem is with the junction box/realy. if you dont get power to the junction box itself check the wires coming from the bateery for continuity. may the wire are damaged.

Can't figure out why I have no power to gauges or lights, except headlight.

There should be 6 fuses under the right hand crankcase cover.

Turn Signals Won't Work

Using volt meter to verify polarity for each wire from your dads bike to yours, could help. Also try removing the bulb from each socket try them one side at a time (left bulbs then rite bulbs), not sure about them working when off but sounds like power coming from wrong source(battery),should be on the ignition circuit. compare to your fathers bike!

Lights, turn signals, horn don't work

Look for a bad ground connection inside the headlight shell (or possibly elsewhere). The other thing that all of the items you mention that are working intermittently have in common is the ignition switch. With the switch 'on', check for battery voltage at the fuses for the headlight, turn signals, horn, etc. No voltage at the fuses likely means a bad ignition switch.

Chevrolet 2001 express van brake lights go out when headlights are turned on.

The first thing you should check is the ground. In the rear ov the vehicle on the left side of the back door you should see a ground wire connected by a green screw. (it may be a grey screw). let me know what you find.

* barkbusters for the handlebars -- a kind of bracket that clips on over the front of the control levers, protecting your knuckles from rear-view mirrors and the levers from bending backwards when the bike gets knocked over. * headlight modulator -- a device that makes your headlight vary its brightness up and down 4 times a second and makes you more conspicuous. * brakelight modulator -- a device that makes your brakelight flicker ~4 times a second for about a second when you hit the brakes. * front running lights -- two-filament bulbs in your turn signals to light them up at 5W all the time. * a louder horn
