Question about 1989 Honda GL 1500 Gold Wing
Hi!, I have a friend who has a 1991 honda Goldwing, but we have discovered that it is a 1989 chassis, the problem is we bought a Tacho meter from a 1993 wing, and it had two terminals on it instead of three which is on the earlier model, question is can the (two terminal) meter be made to work on this model with possible wiring adjustments, The initial problem with the bike was that it was intermittantly reading double the Revs on the Tacho meter,or is there a need to replace the original meter?, Your Help would be Greatly appreciated, Thanking You, Mike.
Hi Mike, not being there to test your components, I recommend that you call the local autoelectric shops. These shops have all of the diagnostic equipment and knowhow to solve your problem. J.
