Sounds like it may be a weak battery that cannot engage the solenoid completely, or a bad starter.

SOURCE: 91 yamaha breeze, wont turn over

Check fuses. Check voltage. Could be a burned, or just broken fuse. Could be a dead battery. Could be as simple as poor battery connections. If not, perhaps the following will help:

A starter can be tested in a very simple way, by applying 12vdc to the power input, and grounding the case. If it spins, then it's on to step 2, checking connections.

Starters are much too simple to be more complicated than that, but the electrical system can be. Check the circuit between the relay and the starter. Is is a direct wire with no breaks? If so, check the voltage at the power output and input of the relay. If it is good, check the power input and grounding of the starter.

Most new bikes have a clutch switch, and it may interrupt the 12vdc to the starter, without affecting the relay. Same thing goes for the nuetral switch.

Try starting in nuetral, with the clutch pulled. Check the relay for conections that you may have taken off, and not replaced. Same thing for the starter.

124 CC four wheeler clicks motor, wont turn over

If the quad has an electric starter and you hear a loud click but the starter motor is not turning the engine there may be a couple of things going on. First charge the battery. Once charged try starting again, if the same symptoms take battery to a motorcycle dealer and ask them to load/drop test it. If they say it's okay, then you may have a mechanical issue such as a sized engine, hydrolically locked piston or other such problems. Most likely your issue is with the battery.

Sorster wont start

Is your starter motor gone? A temporary measure is to give them a tap with a hammer not too hard. But overall sounds like a replacement is due.

1992 heritage wont start, breaker near starter clicks,it is new and battery checks good

Describe the "click"

A rapid series of clicks (like a machine gun) is a low battery or a bad ground.

One single loud click is the starter relay (about a $10 part)

Just click wont start

What kind of click?

If it's a rapid, machine gun like clicking, the battery is low, or there is a bad connection.

One loud click is usually a bad starter relay, about a $10 part.

New battery wont turn over but horn will sound

How many Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) does the battery have? Do you hear the starter solenoid engaging with it's loud click? You didn't tell me what year and model bike you're working on either. When you press the start switch, what happens? Do the lights dim or go out? I need more information. A horn doesn't take much to get it to work. To start an engine takes a huge amount of power.

Cub cadet 2542 wont start... loud clicking noise when I try to start it.

Your battery sounds like it is dead, check it and get a new one. the clicking sounds to me like the starter, they will make a loud clicking noise when there is not enough juice to get them turning.

Electrical

sounds like you have got dead cells in your battery , they wont hold a charge , the loud click was probably the cells in the battery arking and killing the cells off ,id fit a new battery and all should be well.
hope this helps
kind regards
