What kind of engine coolant does a VL 800 use?

You will need to use a coolant that is compatible with an aluminum radiator. Xerex anti-freeze claims to be compatible with aluminum radiators. Be aware that the wrong anti-freeze, especially alchohol based will destroy your radiator in short order. Your best bet is to read the label for yourself.

Your mixture will be:
1.6 U.S. Pints (750 ml) Coolant
1.6 U.S. Pints (750 ml) DISTILLED Water.

I need to change anti freeze in my 2003 Suzuki VL 800 Volusia but having difficulty locating expansion tank. Please help with simple instructions to carry out this task.

From the top of your radiator you will have a pipe 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch follow that along and you will find your expansion tank there will be no more then about 3 bolts holding it on remove the hose and bolts and take the tank out of your motorcycle and drain into a sealable container DO NOT try to **** the coolant out with a hose as the anti freeze is poisonous it kills around 10,000 pets per year an estimated 3,400 human poisonings...20% are children under the age of 6, Depose of your anti freeze wisely.

How to change coolent in a 2003 suzuki vl 800 volusia motorcycle

like anywhere else. what do you expect to hear if you are lazy to ask properly in a few sentences?
first have the engine cool down, then pour out the old coolAnt into a container like a distilled water  container. Add distilled water and coolant in proper volumes and crank up the engine. then de-aerate the cooling system and it's done
