The accessories switch on my 2000 heritage softail classic will not engage. Removed and cleaned switch, reinstalled, turned switch to accessories before complete reinstall. Brake, horn, signal

Hi, Derrill you need to check the ignition switch for continuity in all positions with a test light or multimeter the accessory circuit energizes the speedometer backlight, rear tail light, brake light, and horn only if none of these components are working in the accessory switch position check the accessory fuse. For this scenario, you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Harley, despair not, for a mere $7 you can download another one. 2007 HERITAGE CLASSIC speedometer, turn signals, horn, brake lights all not working

Hi Anonymous, as the bikes get newer and more complex so do the electronics. Try going to www.fuelmotousa.com/harleycodes.phml It will walk you through retrieving and clearing trouble codes that might at least point you in the right direction. I would start in the " S " or " SP " mode of the diagnostic menu. Good luck

Brake light stuck on an 2007 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail.

It's probably your front brake light switch is broke. You must take the right handlebar switch housing apart to replace that switch.

Good Luck

My brake light was not working so I replaced the bulb, it still doesnt work with handlebar lever or foot pedal.

Check circuit breakers/fuses for proper operation. If circuit breakers/fuses ok, then could be a wire problem that would be common with both brake light switches, most liklely in rear fender area. You do have the switch on when checking brake light?
