Question about 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 600

1 Answer

I've got a 2007 GSXR 600 with 7454 Miles which I'm looking to sell. It's had a service at 561 miles but i've just noticed that it hasn't had the 4,000 service. Will this effect the price dramatically?

NO. I've never personally had a suzuki gsx-r but as long as it is in good running condition, its not leaking any fluids, has good tires and brakes, and doesnt look crappy, the 4000 mile suggested maintnence wont effect the price. Good luck with the sale!

We are looking into buying a 2007 Buick Lucerne CXL v-6 with 89,000 miles. What type issues are we looking at? I noticed it has a timing chain, when do they need to be changed, if it breaks what type of...

A very nice comfortable automobile:) No concerns with timing other major concerns...they hold resale value well don't they:) At 89,000 miles you early maintenance concerns will be have the brakes been replaced...have the front rear struts been replaced? Tranny fluid filter serviced yet? Also should replace plugs and wires by 100,000, also look at wear on serpentine belt...coolant serviced? These are minor concerns, but will definitely affect your enjoyment of this premium Buick:)

I have a gsxr-600 the postive of the batt. hit the frame hasn't ran right since and shuts off after about 3 miles and then you have to wait before it will start again

You have shorted something out. Possibly fried the ECM. Check all fuses, and wiring. If they are all good, then the ECM is probably fried...and time for another.

I have a 2007 G35 with 94k miles and need service

Yes, it's true that you want to flush the system after that many miles. Most of the time, a full flush won't cost more than 250 - 300 dollars. The only reason it costs that much is for the replacement fluids and labor. You don't need to replace the hoses unless they look bad. While you are there you might as well get the serpentine belt replaced as well.

My 2007 Mazda6 transmission fuild does not have a red tint. It looks clear on the dip stick and looks brownish on a paper towel. Car as 49,000 miles. Is this normal?

Yes. Mazda recommends your transmission be serviced every 30,000 miles. This means that your car is 19,000 miles overdue.

Required break in service for 2007 triumph America? I am looking at purchasing a 2007 America with about 200 miles on it. Is there any required break in service that is required?

Normal break in period is 500-1000 miles. They change oil and oil filter. On my motorcycle I change the oil no matter what every 3000 miles.

800 buying questions

start looking for gas at 90 miles. REALLY be looking for gas at 100 mi. 200/250 miles is no problem. 300+ to 400 will have you feeling like you've ridden a horse as there's no wind protection. the bikini fairing is only marginally protective but it looks the ****. service intervals on the 07's are 7,500 miles for valve inspection (not necessarily adjustments..), & belts are 2 yrs / 12,000 miles. my belts are due for replacement this summer with approximately 10,000 miles in 24 mos.
