First check all fuses then check for spark then check if you got fuel going to distribution (carburator or fuel injection system)

2001 Stratus Coupe. new battery and starter. engine wont crank when i turn the key. also no dash lights

You need to clean all the batt. and starter solenoid connections.
make sure they are tight
make sure to clean batt neg wire at body connection
check your fuse link to starter from battery,
a 6 inch section of thinner wire designed to burn out to protect starter. this is why you can jump starter you bypass the blown fuse link.

Car wont start, but light are on

If you are saying the engine will not crank but you have warning lights on the dash, it could be the battery, starter, or the neutral safety switch. If the engine cranks but does not start, you will need to figure out if you are lacking fuel or spark to proceed.

2006 chevy colorado has power wont crank

Do you have a security light flashing in the dash when you try to start it, does the starter spin the engine for but not start it up? Have you tried spraying fuel into the intake during cranking? Do you have spark? Any fault codes? All this can be the problem and other things as well, have them all eliminated as the cause.

My 2006 dodge stratus wont start

If the engine will not crank over with the starter then have the battery and starter tested first and then go from there. If the theft system is the problem you will have a warning light on in the dash or a message on alerting you to the problem in the anti theft system.

2002 Tahoe engine will not start

Electrical problems are difficult to diagnose in person without testing ...however, it seems that you may be loosing the body ground, causing power loss to the clock and likely the computer as well. As the starter is able to turn the engine, likely there is no problem with engine grounding. While cranking, the accessory side of the ignition switch should remain "hot" otherwise you would loose the clock every time you started it up. If it's not a ground problem, I'd look at the ignition switch itself to make sure it's not dropping power to ignition system while starter is engaged. on some vehicles this can also happen at the starter relay if an ignition bypass is used to provide hotter starting spark.
