I did a oil change on my 2000 Suzuki GSXR 6000 took it for a ride, i put tje wrong o-ring on the oil drain plug nut. So it leaked. I've fulled it back up with oil and now my oil light won't go off and my...

Paul, the oil light probably won't go off until the engine starts and builds oil pressure. Before trying to start it again, consider draining a pint of oil into a CLEAN container and hold it into the bright sunlight to see if there is a metallic trace in the oil....This may give you an idea of damage if any to the lower end bearings. If there's a metallic trace in the oil, the fresh oil will kinda sparkle like a metalflake paint job as it glides across the bottom of the test container. Hopefully you have a wide pan like a cookie sheet.

I hope the main and rod bearings aren't roasted.....

Oil light is coming on. oil is at correct level but bike stops after 5 mins riding or so.

If your oil level is right then the oil pressure sensor or oil pump is not working.

The oil and temperature lights of my Kawasaki V1500 Classic stays on and the bike has suddenly got less power with a nasty ticking sound from within the engine. Nothing wrong with the oil level. What can...

i believe your oil pump is not working properly or dead .
have a good look at the oil as well if its a bit thin and burned , you will " cook " your engine .
i am pretty sure that it is a oil pressure issue and the pump is faulty .
do not ride it as you will damage your bike more and cease the motor .
you might have already done damage with the lack of oil pressure .
i am sorry .

the only thing would be over filling the oil, or not waiting long enough for the new oil to settle down . wait an hour after oil change to start bike.

97 gsxr dies during short rides and wont restart for 8-25 minutes

Check the fuel filter and petcock screen in the bottom of the tank. If either is dirty it will cause what you describe.
Best wishes

01 gsxr that fl code came on and oil light is on.

It is not safe to drive with the oil light on, you risk major engine damage. It means low oil pressure. The FI light means a fault with the fuel injection system. You will need diagnostic equipment connected to the bike to read the fault code(s). Most likely this will be at a shop.

Running rough , oil light came on, then stalled at stop lights.

hi m8,,took a look at this pretty pic u have and thought i add one of these,,see wot the prob is,,hope im not gonna be the bringer of bad news mr, seems to me the oil pump in the sump has seized,,while riding it if it felt tight wen it stopped, then that aint good,, but u can change these with out takin the moter out, drain the oil,, sump off and clutch out, to get to the nuts on the oil pump..just means either u lie on the floor and do it, or be lucky and have a ramp,,although u will have to get some 1 to look at the shells on the crank,, or bearings and hope they havent been damaged,,there wont be damage tho if the oil u have drained out doesnt have iron filings in it, ,cheers m8,,

Oil issue

it really sounds like you have water in the oil or some other contaminant (bike wasn't run on Castor oil?) You probably want to drain oil into a clean container and flush system before you do serious damage. Bike is geting hot enough to boil off water?
