I purchased new tires for my 2008 Kia Spectra in October. During the installation of the new tires my TPMS was broken on one of the tires. My mechanic purchased and installed a new TPMS for the broken...

The TPMS has to be reprogrammed to see the new unit in the tire. There is a special tool that does that and KIA is a car brand that has a proprietary system. Take it to a dealer and have it done and no it is not free. Take the bill for that to the tire company and see if they will pay you back.

The tires on my shop fox 19 inch w 1729 come apart after a few months

There's a possibility that your tires do not last longer. The issue might there might be the quality of the tire or how you installed them . I recommend you to use urethane tires . Urethane doesn't need gluing but lasts longer . I purchase my tires with and you may want to read this blog . Hope that helps.

Toyo 19" A20 Tires wearing out quickly

Contact the Toyo company. toyota will not help you on this one. You need to check to see if there is unusual shredding or peeling or possibly chunks coming off the tires. That is what happened with mine at 14K miles and I am in the process of getting them replaced. Toyota service told me they thought it was normal wear. It was not. After I contacted Toyo, they told me to go to a toyo dealer and have them call the company back. They offered me 100% if I put the same A20 tire onthe vehicle and 70% (100% for unused spare) if I put the new Toyo HT. I chose the latter since it has a 60K mile warranty. What I also found out is the A20 tire is not the same one you can buy now. The new one is the A20A. The original A20 was made specifically for Toyota at their request as an OEM tire. Toyota should have some liability in this and I am fighting them for the 30% cost, but am not holding my breath they will help.

2000 Ford Explorer AWD purchased with different size tires

It is true that driving with different size tires can damage the transfer case, depending on how long it was driven like that. But--- even if the tires are the same size it can cause this. if the tires are worn and two tires are new the circumference of the tires must not be more than 1/2 inch difference from each other, take a tape measure and put it around the tire in the center and measure the difference of each tire

New tires

Typically new tires reduce road noise. It can also greatly depend on what type of tire you purchased. Head to and search for the tire you purchased and see if the reviewers attribute it to added road noise.

The installer also could have incorrectly balanced them, which could also add to noise and should be corrected as promptly as possible.
