you blew a fuse. check fuses in both fuse boxes..
ahh yes, the IP cluster lamps are dad, but not the idiot warning lights
only the parking lights in the cluster are dead. right.?
and the park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
my guess three is a short on the TAIL fuse, the TAIL fuse blew
and took out: park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
it blew. most are marked tail even thought it runs side lamps and front parking lamps... TAIL is wrong, they are parking. lamps it truth.
in the rear lights you may have two bulbs one is the turn signal the other one is stop light / tail light the stop light / tail light has two filaments, one for the stop light (21 watt) & one for the tail light (5 watt) it is possible that the tail light filament is blown, try replacing the bulb to see if that fixes the problem, also check all the fuses as well.......hope this helps......cheers.
The odds are the one fuse is blown for the dash and the tail lights. And the wrong bulb may have been put in for the brake light. The brake light is feeding back into the tail light circuit causing the fuse to blown out.
Change out the bulbs with OEM bulbs and replace the blown fuse. That should fix the problem.
Look under the dashboard, next to/above the park brake pedal, for the interior fuse box. It has a black plastic cover. Remove the TAIL fuse, and see if it is blown. This should get you fixed up. Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa.
you might have to take out each fuse one by one until you find. look in interior of vehicle for your fuse panel. it should be marked tail lights and fog lights, maybe you had it turnd the wrong way when checking them when in doubt check them all 1 AT A TIME. replace w/ correct size fuse. best of luck.
Follow your brake pedal arm under the dash until you find the little black switch with two wires on it, that is activated by moving the arm in and out.It may be a simple adjustment or replacement of that switch. If pushing the switch button doesnt make the tail lights work unplug and join the two wires to confirm that the switch is faulty. If joining the two wires doesnt make the tail lights work check that you have power at one of the wires,if no power you will need to find out why but im sure its just the switch needs adjusting.Good luck.
