can see it at the left side when looking at a card from the top. Move
the slider switch away from LOCK position.

click start click on my computer you should see your transcend usb drive right click then select format another way is to control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your transcend drive select format hope this helps
Hi, i have here a photo that will show you on how to remove write protect on a micro SD.
1. You need to insert your micro SD into an adapter.
2. Unlock the micro SD through your adapter as shown below.
3. Once done, your micro SD is no longer write protected.
NOTE:
The lock switch doesn't lock the micro SD into the adapter;
The lock switch doesn't lock the data on the micro SD;
The lock switch simply tells the "user" not to write.
It just says "please, don't write me."

you will look into the side of your SD CARD. theres a small toggle
switch there. just slide it to the other side inorder to disable the
write protection
You'll probably find a write protection switch on the side of the card. Just move the switch to the unlocked position (you probably moved it by accident). Then try formatting it will work.
You need to format all new cards. Does your Mp3 player show up as a drive when you hook it up to your computer if so open that drive right click on format use FAT32 for windows os. If your Mp3 player does not show up as a drive use the SD slot on your computer to format. Choose the SD card slot drive right click on the drive choose farmat... use FAT32 for windows os. and you should be off and downloading great tunes... Good luck hope that helped.

The write Protect tab, is usually write protected with a small white plastic flick switch, On The side Of the SD Card. If its Down, or In Lock Position. Then It,s Write Protected.
Well it sounds like you need to backup your Data meaning your Music on the MP3 Player, and put it back on to your Computer. That is the problem that you are having
