The low side port. If you have the proper quick connect charging hose, it will only fit the low side fitting. The high side fitting is larger & wont fit the quick connect fitting on the hose.

The problem is that the dash opening in your Alero is only 6 3/8" in depth and the XDMR7710 is 7X7X2, which means that unless you cut into the vehicle firewall to make some room, 5/8" of the receiver will need to stick out the front of the dash.

Why not select a receiver that fits?

be more clear ....how come it doesn't fit ...maybe it is fitting but not work ??I don't thing it is possible to not fit in the same spot ...if it doesn't work ..see that it has a locking device on it ...its just a little slide button on the side...
also look carefully maybe its damaged physically...or maybe the slot has something inside...like a strange object or so .... .....or you just used another card...or if now seams smaller...it used to have an adapter for it ...

Look at the old speakers to find out which cable is positive (+) and the other negative (-). Cut the connectors off one at a time, strip the wires, connect them to your new speakers. Negative to negative positive with positive then tape them good with black electrical tape. That's all! If the cables are to short connect more speaker wire.
