It is frustrating to stop an oil leak if you don't find the correct source of the problem. This might be due to poor valve and cover gaskets. The back hole might have some sludges or became restricted due to improper choice of oil and due to lack of oil change.

Clicking noise coming from around flywheel.

If the car is an automatic, it will have a thin metal flex plate, rather than a regular flywheel. If the flexplate gets a crack in it, it would cause a bit of noise. See if there is an inspection plate on bottom front of transaxle. Remove the inspection cover to look at the flex plate. Turn the engine over to view the flexplate all around. Look for cracks, maybe a loose or missing mounting nut where torque converter mounts on flex plate. If you see nothing, leave the inspection cover off, and run the engine and listen closely for a problem from that area.
Leaking oil, eh? Don't know if related, but while looking at the flexplate, check if motor oil is leaking out the rear main crankshaft seal. It will be fitted to the rear engine block, in front of the flex plate. Oil would be dripping off the rear of engine, or maybe collecting at bottom of bell housing, evident when inspection cover is removed.

97' Honda Accord is leaking oil around where the oil filter is located. there is no extra gasket there.

Above the oil filter is the oil-pressure switch for the light in the cluster. That's a sorta-common source of leaking. Oil leaks directly through the defective switch, coming out around the rubber boot where the wire attaches. You didn't state what size engine you have so I will send you a link to both engines that is listed for the 97 model. OIL LEAKING FROM NEXT TO WATER PUMP ON MY 2005 YAMAHA YZ 250

The only oil that can leak from iside your engine is from the gearbox. There is no sump as the engine is lubricated by the oil fed in through the induction system. Clean the area thoroughly and leave it for a while(overnight) then check again. The oil could just be overfill from the 2-stroke tank. By cleaning it first you are given new evidence to identify the leak point. Hope this helps, when you have more info let me know.

Engine light came on and coolant leak

You don't want to overfill your engine with oil. I'd recomend you change your oil and put the right amount in it, because chances are, if you are that low, it was time for an oil change anyway. As for your coolant leak, check your hoses and radiator, if you don't find anything look your engine block over for antifreeze residue. Usually when your water pump wears out and starts leaking it makes a big mess.

Oil leak

If it's leaking from the oil filter spacer.( the 2 inch metal ring that attaches to your block, and has two rubber hoses coming out of it, and your oil filter attaches to) There is an o-ring between the spacer and the block. Take off your oil filter, remove the oil filter stud with 1 3/16" socket( or metric equivalent) and the spacer will come off. I found all the auto parts stores around me said that the o-ring was a dealer item. I bought a FRAM PH3387A oil filter and removed the o-ring on that. It fit perfectly, snug down your oil filter stud to specs, then install your oil filter. Double check that the oil filter is not double gasketed, and your are fixed!

2004 dodge ram 2500 waisted oil.

Check Out your pcv

" Inspect the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve. Shake the PCV valve to verify that the pintle inside of the PCV valve is free. Replace the PVC if the pintle is not free"

and then check this Tech Service bulletin TSB 09-05-00 Spark knock and oil consumption due to intake manifold pan gasket oil leak. .
"If the intake manifold plenum pan gasket is leaking, an additional vacuum source will be created inside of the engine at the location of the pan gasket leakage.- Engine combustion blow-by gases, oil vapor, and air from the crankcase filter/breather may be drawn past the leaking pan gasket and into the intake manifold. In most cases when this condition occurs, an engine at idle will create the highest vacuum and lowest amount of engine blow-by."

All instructions for the test and fix are in the bulletin. Don't do anything to void your warranty this is for your information and knowledge.

Your oil manufacturer should not be an issue if it exceeds specs for your vehicle (most do)
The oil weight may be an issue if you are not using the recommended weight. (still unlikely)

Plugs are different definitely stay only with the manufacturer recommended for best performance

While 1 quart per 3000 may not seem outrages to some any oil leakage from a new vehicle should be unacceptable.

I cannot suggest any other recourse than these other than to make sure you have all your trips to the dealer documenting the complaint and the resolution or lack of solution. If you have tried all your resources to fix the vehicle it may be time for different direction and a different group of professionals.. So maybe yes to your question " there sumting wrong wit my truck???"
