The air filter is usually under the seat. If it's not there, trace the hose from the air intake on the carburetor.

Air filter/housing, being flooded by fuel/oil mixture

Hi, Bgeneblues07 and the usual suspects are:
1. Oil tank over filled always check your oil level with the engine at normal operating temperature, then try running it halfway between the low and full marks or if you have no dipstick 8 ounces less than recommended or a 1-inch air pocket in the oil tank.
2. Clogged, pinched, bent, or loose breather line/pipe. If your lines run into the air filter try routing them into a tee fitting and then a single line that goes towards the ground into a mini filter that is secured by a zip tie to a lower frame rail.
3. The piston rings are worn passed specifications which can be confirmed by a proper leak down test "OR" the rings were never properly seated during the initial break-in procedure and need to be replaced, this is caused by being too gentle on a new engine. Proper break-in procedures are in your owners manual.

I have a worthington tow behind compressor, and I have a ton of oil mixing in with the air, it makes a huge mess. I have replaced the filter, any other suggestions

you stated you replaced the filter. Was it the separator filter? the separator filter is located inside the separator tank. the separator tank is where you add oil. If this filter is bad it will cause oil and air to mix and get into the air. Also there is a 1/4 inch line that comes from the top of the tank . this line has an orffice in it If the orffice plugs oil can carry over into the air.

Car keeps dying when giving gas, idles low, dies at stoplights and stop signs

Problem could be either to much air OR to much fuel in inlet manifold
If you have a pipe broken or come off the inlet manifold from either a breather from the engine that could cause it, or a problem from the fuel tank such as a fuel filter on the line from the tank to the engine,or Air Filter needs cleaning etc, or even a air leak in the Inlet manifold gasket.

Engine is pumping oil back through the air filter unto the ground Generac GP 9000 with OHU1 Low Pressure shutoff.

I am thinking that your air filter is extremely dirty. The engine creates a suction and if the air filter is so dirty that air cannot pass through it, then it will start to **** from the engine block and oil will come into the manifold and drip out through the filter and onto the ground. Have you tried to start and run the engine without the filter (in a clean location only and for a short time) to see if the problem still exists without the air filter? This will determine if the engine is pumping the oil out. If it runs fine without excessive oil being drawn into the manifold, then I would purchase a new air filter (do not reuse these filters) and try it out.

I cant find my fuel filter on my 1985 toyota 4runner i looked along the frame rails from the tank to the motor 22re all i could find was a canister 3 times the size of my fuel filter they gave me it had...

The filter is well hidden from casual view. It is bolted to the passenger side of the engine block. It is above the starter and under the intake manifold. The filter is very hard to change. Depending on your skills as a contortionist and tools on hand, you may have to remove the both the oil filter and starter to get to it.

Where do i locate the air filter for 1984 Honda VF 1000 Thanks Terry

Most all motorcycles air filters are located underneath the fuel tank.
take off seat...turn fuel selector to off...disconnect hose from fuel filter, take off hold down bolts for tank then have some rags ready for a little fuel leakage and since your going to change or inspect air filter now would be a good time to change or spray clean your fuel filter. if the air filter is not under the tank, then just follow back from your carburetor manifolds tubes.

Fuel lines need connected and im having fuel pump relay problems

HI, Ive just put a 2.6 4ze1 injected motor in a 95 rodeo in oz, the supply fuel pipe connects to the one sticking out at the front of the efi manifold next to the battery & air con hose! Make sure you have fuel in the tank, also you might have to prime the air out of the line by putting a rag around the hose & turning it over with your finger over it. Lightly releasing each time to let air escape until fuel comes out & being extremely careful for fire hazzard & to yourself!!! Then fit to manifold, the other pipe heading down under the manifold must be a vacum or tank breather hose? I hope this helps you GARYB in australia!!!
