Question about Suzuki GSX 600 F (Katana Motorcycles
Hello, my name is Ben. Tiny rust spots are usually no big deal. As long as there aren't big flaky places that could break loose and clog the fuel valve or carbs. I would of course be sure the fuel petcock is clean and possibly install an inline fuel filter. I am not a big fan of those popular fuel tank liners such as Kreme but many people use them with somewhat good results. A better solution is to take the tank to a radiator repair shop and have them apply a liner to the inside of the tank. It's a little more time consuming and slightly more expensive, but you get a much better permanent gas tank lining. I hope I have given you some ideas to keep you rolling, Ben.
