Cranks but will not start

You need to check your charging system, if your stator is bad your battery will not charge. As far as it shutting down while riding that sound like you have an intermittent ground, so check all wire connections.

My 2002 honda shadow spirit clicks when i try to start it and will not start. Where should I start??

The clicking is the starter solenoid trying to activate but the battery has not got enough power
Check battery has at least 12.5volts when fully charged, if batt is good it will crank the engine over rapidly

I have a 2000 Yamaha R1. I charged the battery and it held the charge overnight. The next day I rode about 50miles, stoped the bike and the battery was dead again. It my understanding there is no...

1. Depending on what you mean by holding the charge.
2. As far I can tell, your battery have enough power to start the bike once or twice but then the charge is gone meaning the battery still have poer but the cranking power is below the needed amount.
3. Try take the bike to a battery shop, have them check the battery condition and the same time how well your bike recharging system.
4. If your charging system is good then just replace the battery.

Engine not turning over, getting a very fast clicking under cover

How old is the battery...if more than two years its probably seen its days.it wouldn't hurt to replace it, because its pretty hard to push start bikes in certain places you park. An old battery will read 12v, but you have to measure it with the bike running anyway to check the regulator system.
With a good battery 12.5v is nominal, 13v perfect now start the bike, crank it up to 4k rpm and hold it and watch the voltage climb way up to like 14v maybe 14.5v then climb rapidly down as supposed to, this is called regulating the charge to the battery. After a long ride then check the resting voltage... and on a good battery and it will probably read 12.6v to 12.8v. But if you ever read just 12v the battery has a bad cell in it and its dying. hope this helps you out, can i get some feedback..thanks

2002 gsxr 600 bike shuts off

Did you put a full charge on the battery b4 you put it in? The charging system really dose not charge until like 4 or 5 thousand RPM's. So just starting it in the garage doesnt really charge the battery. Put a full charge on it and it should be fine. Also buy a trickle charger. It will keep this from happening again. Its a commonly over looked issue. If it dies again going around town the replace the stator. ( left side of motor )
