Honeywell Pro 4000. AC works fine in the daytime. AC at night or early a.m. does not blow air through the vents. The heat pump outside is on and the main inside house unit is low, but on. Help please!

*** First, I'm not a Honeywell Tech, but I have worked on A/C systems. You must call your A/V vendor for service.***
*** The following is for information only as you need to be a certified CFR tech to work on any refrigeration system ***
* Low refrigerant (gas) level. Check for leaking gas with correct CFR probe. Properly reclaim refrigerant. Log amounts collected for CFR certification log. Repair leak(s). Pressure test with inert gas (usually nitrogen). Test for leak(s). Vacuum system to remove moisture and air. Test for leak(s). Re-charge system with MFR recommended charge. Test operation.
* Fan not working. Check and replace
* Fan moving slowly. Check starter capacitor.
* Fan rubbing against frame or rubish. Check mounts, replace bent fan, remove debris.
* Check outside unit pump if working. Reset pump motor if tripped out. But note! You still need to check why it tripped out. (clogged fan, debris around motor/pump, very hot area, water damage, etc.
* check outside cooling fan for; bent blades, broken motor mount, stuck fan/motor.
* Thermostat. check probe(s) and switching. Is it turning on at correct temps (temperature at probe location)
* Controls. check if operating properly.
* Final; Be safe as there is hazardous voltage, gas (replaces oxygen in confined spaces. Toxic if in contact with flame-fire) Yes, it's a complicated system that needs an experianced certified A/C tech to check and perform repairs. Call your service vendor.

2010 Lincoln MKS Heated Seat on driver's side stopped working (Light in button turns off on its' own)

The most common cause of this problem is that the drivers seat heater grid is open or burned out. That is based on 25 years as a Ford dealer technician.

1997 accord lx. Overheating at idle but not when moving. I hear cooling fan come on after I turn off ignition, What can it be?Should fan come on when I turn on AC?

fan not running full speed

dirt and junk packed in the radiator. up front, both if A/C

sure the fan must come on overheated. at all times.

the FSM covers the tests for that, ever seen any FSM>????

read the book or look on

if the fan works, and the rad fins are not packed full of junk, then the RAD tubes in side are clogged, (ask for simple $20 tool that tests this)

all cars overheat , if the fan fails.

no moving means there is no air, no air and the RAD is just a useless brick. the air must flow.

it is really just a heat exhanger, coolant > air.

is the AF at 50% , usning the $2 Prestone test tool?

AF= antifreeze coolant.

Hi, I have got a message saying that there is a problem with the cooling system and that I have to shut down the PC and return it for service but I still can hear the fan working.

If the message you received was from the manufacturer, you best return it. In essence, what you received was factory recall, because of problems that have developed with the model you have. Hearing the fan run, doesn't necessarily mean the unit is operating as it should. Ignoring the message may come back to haunt you later, when the unit stops working. If you have concerns about it, contact the sender of the notice.

Hope this helped you and tanks for choosing FixYa.

A/C not working in my 2003 Nissan maxima GLE-- the gauges light up appropriately, but the fan doesn't blow. It does get cold, I can feel the refrigerated air gently blow though the vents if i'm driving...

The most likely cause of your concern would be the fan control amp. It is located behind the glove box. It controls the ground side of the blower motor. But before replacing it, check to see if you have power and ground at the blower motor.

Fan Button doesn't work

HI, in most cases, the button will be fine. there is an error code that will illuminate on the control if the touch pad starts to malfunction(sticking buttons). this is more likely an issue that concerns the integrity of the fan motor. have it tested. replace it if found to be defective.

Pc sht down stating thermal error. suppose processr fan not working. can this be the cause of the eror?

Most of the time you'll never hear the CPU fan. If you don't hear the normal fan sounds coming from your computer, it is most likely the power supply cooling fan. Hold you hand at the back of the computer where the power chord plugs in, while the computer is running, and test if you feel air blowing on your hand. If you don't, then replace your power supply. Make sure, when checking for a new PS that you get the correct pin count. Best to order from Dell since proprietary systems usually use proprietary parts and a generic PS won't fit in the opening at the back of the computer (alignment of the plug and the fan with the opening, etc.)

Hi, if I understood you right, you main concern is noise from the HSF (heatsink + fan). there are aftermarket HSF available with less noise yet higher fan rpm. you may want to try looking at for reference. Good luck. Kind regards.
