You actually mean engine oil, the transmission is not separate from the engine.

What viscosity and how much Fork oil

If you are rebuilding your Forks, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND replacing the fluid with Synthetic (last Longer) and is cleaner for the internal Valves... Viscosity will fine tune your suspension. you need to take into consideration your location, your riding weight and riding habits... The lower the number the more action, the Higher the number, the slower the response and harder ride but when you take into consideration Weight and Normal Ambient Temperatures... You need to dial in your own number...

1991 CB 250 Nighthawk: whats the top speed for a 1991 honda nighthawk 250...

I have had my 2008 Nighthawk 250 up to 70mph with some left over. I just got it so I haven't really run it full throttle yet ( 75 miles on the OD ) I weight 300 lbs. I would guess 80 on a flat road. I felt comfy at 70 but this is my 5th bike. I bought this one for the gas mileage and 1 yr. warranty. I will try actual top speed on the Interstate in about 1000 miles. Hope this helps. I like the bike. Chris

1992 Honda CB 250 Nighthawk Piston Problem.

Black exhaust is from too much fuel. You may have a carburator float sticking. That will cause excess fuel to go into the cylinder, and if it can't "compress" it, it will knock.

My front forks are leaking oil, it a 250 night halk 1993 ,hat is this and how do i fix it ?

you will be able to see rubber like bushes in between the joints of forks. oil leaks generally if they wear down. you can replace them easily and doesn't cost too much a mechanic to do it, because alignment problems may occur if you do it yourself(unless you know to do it perfectly)
