I have been told that Suzuki Boulevard C50's need to have their cam chains replaced every 24000 kilometers. If this is the case I will need to be doing mine every 2 years???

Some have problems with the tensioners at that mileage, but not as a rule. I am at about twice that mileage on my '05 with no related issues.

05 Suzuki C50 wont' start. Checked all of the fuses and they look good. What do I check next?

Hi and welcome to the site,

Initially, have the battery charged and load tested.

Offhand, determine if there is a clicking sound. If none but there is electrical power, then check the sidestand switch. If there is, then temporarily jumper the starter relays big terminals.

Good luck and thank you for asking.

Installing a heel toe shifter on a suzuki boulevard c50, is there any springs on it?

Nothing external; it simply slips onto the splines of the shifter shaft. Since the Volusia became the C50 in '05, they have been stock, did a previous owner remove yours?

Is the motor oil also the transmission fluid or is there a seperate tranny fill? 05-Suzuki Boulevard C50

One and the same- that is why, if you use an oil that is not motorcycle-specific, make sure that it does not have the "energy saving" label in the grade rating emblem. I have run Shell Rotella, both dino and synthetic, for most of the 32K of my Boulevard.

Rear tire removal

Volusias (2004 and earlier): you will have to remove the "fake" frame section from the left side.
C50 Boulevards ('05 and up): simply remove the chrome plastic cap on the left side, using a thin screwdriver blade to pry it up at the small slot in the cap. Now, after removing the cotter pin, you can turn the axle while holding the axle nut with a wrench. Since the pipe is in the way, you can only drive the axle out with a long punch a little ways, but once it is started, you can pry the other end until you have a good grip on it; having the weight of the wheel supported helps a lot.
