Question about Honda CRF 450 X Motorcycles
1) Remove the cover over the throttle cables at the carburetor.
2)Loosen the nuts so the cables can be removed at the wheel on the carb.
3)Remove the two screws at the throttle tube. Separate the front part off to expose the cables. Disconnect the cables from the throttle tube and slide the tube off of the handle bar.
4)Re install the throttle tube on the handle bars and reconnect the cables.
5) Install the front portion of the throttle retainer. Be careful here- it is very easy to pinch the cables with the white plastic guide . Make sure that the throttle operates smoothly and does not bind.
6) Tighten the two screws with the throttle tube in the proper position on the handle bars.
7) Re connect the throttle cables at the carb wheel and adjust for 1/8” throttle play.
