Question about 2004 Yamaha YZ 250

I need to stiffen the rear suspension, any ideas?

04 YZ 250 - 2 stroke. Need help on how to make my rear end stiffer.

If it has an adjustable coil shock on the back u should be able to turn the collar on the botom of the spring to tighten it up, somtime's there is a spetial too needed

02 yz 250 not reving up


Check the compression. It should have at least 100 psi,..if not,then its time to rebuild the top end..IE piston,rings,bore cylinder. If compression checks out,i would start with the power valve. Two stroke dirtbikes power valves are notorius for gumming up and sticking,causing them to not rev correctly.

Suspension settings for a 2000 yz 250


Just put all settings at mid-range. Then adjust from there for desired softer or stiffer ride.
