would be the same as a road vehicle engine
145-155 psi
any higher and you would need high octane fuel and any lower would indicate a compression problem
check on line entering the make and model and add in engine specifications
Hey Frank... been a while..
A internal combustion engine only needs 3 things to run...
1. A timed spark
2. Compression
3. Correct air/fuel ratio
One or more of these are not right...ALL THREE must be absolutely correct before it runs...
No or low compression can only be from either valve failure in a 4 stroke engine, and/or serious internal engine failure. Cracked pistons, worn out rings etc. The engine will have to come apart and rebuilt
First is the engine Diesel or Gas?
if it is a diesel engine it has almost got to be a compression or fuel problem if it is a Gas engine it can be a valve adjustment, fuel, compression, or spark problem
