When you say "stalled and wouldn't kick over or jump start", do you mean you "can" kick it, but it just won't start, or that it's locked up? If it locked up, you would obviously know since it would have locked the rear tire up when it stalled if you were moving. More info would be helpful.

i cant kick it because it locked up i was riding and the tire locked up, if you hold the clutch in you can push it but it seems like my crank seized up

the tire locked up when i was riding and it wouldnt kick over or anything i thin i screwed the crank bearing

ok i will i just had the motor apart and found out it needs a bearing on the crank i have to take it and get it split apart i think the bearing is between 18 and 60 dollars so if i get thjat i should be back on the trails before you know it, when i change the crank bearing i think im gonna change my piston and rings aswell

Thanks for the additional info. To check if it's the tranny or crank bearings, did you try shifting through the gears? With it not running, you should be able to shift through all of the gears. If you can't, you may have blown a gear in the tranny and not the crank bearings. If the tranny is ok, then I suspect you are correct that it's the lower end and needs to be pulled apart. If you pulled the top end off, it sounds like you have some mechanical skills. Pull the intake, cylinder, etc. (Grab a $25 repair manual if you've never done it and don't want to try on your own without instruction) and you can probably get through pulling it apart and save a ton of $$ on labor. Then take the lower end in to a shop and have them replace the bearings. If you don't have a place locally that you can get a manual from, here are the ones I go to locally here in Minnesota. They ship everywhere:

Hope this helps. Good luck and let me know how it turns out. Fred-

1997 Ford Escort stalling when going 35 mph or less.

You may need to be looking at your Torque Converter being in LOCK UP and forcing it to stall because the Transmission is not letting go of the Motor...

You may also have a Plugged CAT CONVERTER

Test the Temp BEFORE and AFTER.. There should be an INCREASE of at least 100 degrees on the BACK from the Front

Stalls out while driving

it is very possible you fried your alternator. You need to get the system tested. When jumping another vehicle you can't rev your engine like people tend to do with an actuall alternating system.

Replaced stator and battery, bike still givin trouble

the regulater is located between tha battery and the gas tank .There are (3) white and(2)red wires .See if they are showing signs of damage from heat more than likley they are because when you "boost" or jump these bikes you burn a very weak diode witch regulates the charging time from the stator i would check ebay for the best price on a new regulater rectifier you may need one.I had the same problem with my 2000 model r6.good luck bro!

YZ not starting

I don't think this is a float issue. One way to check is to turn the gas off, take the bowl off the carb, hold the float up, and turn the gas back in. If fuel flows, the float needle is toast. It sounds suspiciosly like a worn topend, but it could also be a clogged jet ot fuel filter, or a faulty CDI.
