I have an 1994 Yamaha Warrior and there is a snapping noise coming from the motor and when I rev it, it gets worse, any answers to why.

Snapping? May be Poping sound?
1. Could be loose spark plug wire.
2. Bad plug wire causing jump short against motor frame.
This electrical pop will increase as you throttle up. If it is mechanical / internal have it checked.
Things like this go from annoying to tragic real fast. :)
Good luck!

How do you set the timing on a yamaha warrior 350 atv

hello, get piston up on tdc, hold finger on spark plug hole turn engine untill finger blows off, that should be compression stroke. take screwdriver in hole make sure piston is all the way up, take timing cover off top gear, there is a v mark inside the motor , make sure gear marks and timing chain is all aligned upp, timing chaing should have a different colored link, aligned this with mark on gear-chain and the mark on the motor, it looks like a v or a point, you have to remone the top gear cover to see this, once they are all aligned it should be in time, piston has to be up all the way on compression stroke, really its pretty simple....

your starter solenoid is bad. it is located on the rear of the frame, left side sitting on the quad under the left rear fender. has two wires hooked to the top of it. take a screw driver and connect the teminals with the key on and while it is in neutral. it shuld start if it is the problem. hope this helps. oh and a new on on ebay is about 35 bucks...

Yamaha warrior won't start

If you are getting a nice bright blue spark then no, the last time I had a problem like this it was sugar in my tank. If you taste a bit off your finger and it is the slightest bit sweet, then some one has sugared your tank. If so just flush the tank with a little fresh fuel and then flush the carb, and fuel lines by spinning the engine over for a bit then try to start again.
Is yours an electronic ignition or points. If points gap could be wrong or even timing slipped. That has happened to me also.

Quad will not start electricly, and pull start binds?

yes that would be the culprit!!!!! Mine went out on my 660 raptor.what really happens is the bearing blows up or your bolts get sheared off. in my case it was the bolts(all 5 of them). first take off the cover for your lower idle gears.then you will see the starter gear, move it with your should only turn one way.if it trns both ways.then you need to take off the left crankcase cover.and check it out.(i'll put money on it that you broke the bolts.)
