Question about 2001 Yamaha Xv 250 Virago S
Its running lean. make sure your fuel lines are are intact and check for anywhere else that the fuel system could be taking in air.by turning on the choke you are causing the system to run richer (by blocking the air) causing a higher fuel to air ratio but still not enough to keep the engine running under any demand. i am sure you will find something obvious since this started suddenly. good luck.
