Not enough information to diagnose. Could be a ton of issues. TPS may be an issue but you could have a leak somewhere on the intake.

Hi im having problems with my 99 Fazer 600 (15k). After about 30 mins of motorway riding the revs die for a few seconds and then kick back in, everything electrical seems to carry on working. It will run...

First thing I would do is try draining the carb floatbowls incase you have water or dirt in the bowls and when you crack open the throttle it's drawing water/dirt into the jets.
have you checked the plugs? in the haynes manual as 10K-Ohms @20c
When was the last time the carbs were balanced?

hope this helps

I have an onan 18 hp twin cylinder (early 90's vintage) that replaced the koehler in my JD 318 tractor, it seems to surge at anything but maximum power i.e. revs up and down all by itself even though...

Hunting & surging usually is the carb. main fuel jet is dirty, restricted fuel passage, or the governor. Try running some Seafoam carb cleaner through the gas tank first and see if it helps, and don't use ethanol-blended fuel. It absorbs moisture.

I suggest probably hydrocarbons blocking the throttle system. so get the throttle bodies on your ca cleaned, Pour a bottle of fuel system cleaner into the tank and run it exclusively on Shell V-Power petrol. DD tried this and the car ran a lot better.

Car petrol engine revolution surges.

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve, they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
