The float is sticking or valve for level has a piece of something preventing it from sealing. Your going to have to open up the carb and inspect and clean.

My stihl saw ts410 runs ok but as soon as you come to rev it ,it cuts out can you help

try setting your carb, you will see three holes at the side of the machine nr to the fuel cap. the one at the bottom screw it in as far as it will go then unscrew it 4 turns, the one above it do the same again but unscrew it one and a half turns, if this dont work its possible draging air in from somwere ie, crank seals, inpluse pipe, gaskets. it will need to be presure tested.

Ryobi problems

From what you wrote as the problem, it sounds like low side adjustment on the carb. Turn it out CCW a quarter turn.

I have a 2001 ford explorer sport and when my steering wheel is turned straight my driver side tire is straight but my passenger side tire is still turned to the right some what could be the problem?

H Zachary, It seems that your vehicle may very well have been involved in an accident of some type or another. Take the vehicle for alignment at a fitment center. It is possible that the tie rod ends or the rack ends are seriously worn and in need of replacement. I suggest you do so as soon as possible as to delay will cost you a set of tyres! Regards John

hello ,your engine is a tecumseh HMSK90-156525D, Sounds like carb. may need adjusting. Take the heat box off to expose carb. the heat box is the metal box surrounding the caeb., there should be 2 adjustment screws- 1 on the bottom of the bowl and 1 on the side of the carb just above the edge of the bowl ( depending how the carb sets off the engine - if the carb comes straight out it will be on the side facing towards the front of the snow blower or if it goes towards the handles then standing other side of the snow blower the screw will be facing you), turn both screws in til they just bottom out the turn them out 1 1/4 turns out then start the machine. While the machine is running at low idle turn the screw on the side of the carb. in (clockwise) a little at a time listening for the engine to start to rev up and then start to rev down, bog or studder then turn back slightly to bring idle back up. Once the idle is up then the screw on the very top of the carb. turn that out to lower idle to a normal idle. Repeat those adjustments till you cant get the idle to go up anymore. Now for the screw on the bottom of the bowl- move the throttle up to max and turn the screw in till you hear it rev up higher and starts to bog or sputter then turn it back slightly to bring the high rev to a smooth rev. That should take care of it. If it does not solve it then the carb may need cleaning then the adjustments done again. If you need more help on this please feel free to ask. Sometimes you have to do process of elimination and you start with the easiest first. Also the adjustments should help with the carbon build up on the plug.692509.pdf (application/pdf Object)
i have included the manual to give you a good understanding of the carb, page 7 to 25, hope this helps, don't forget the 4 thumbs up,any comments welcome, thank you.~~

My Poulan 2025 Chainsaw fuel hoses have broke down and fell apart. I have new fuel line but do not know the hose routing. All I found in the tank was pieces of hose and the filter. Only one hole coming out...

Check out epartsreplacement.com and there is a video on there you can watch that talks about fuel line replacement. It is a very helpful video Tom. Good luck

Bike wont idol below 2 grand

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Almost always, the described idling problem would be a carb issue. The carbs set has to be pulled down, fully dis-assembled, all non-rubber parts soaked in carb cleaner and cleaning be done specially on the jets and pin holes.

In some instances high idle could be caused by a vacuum leak in any of the rubber coupling between the carbs and the intake manifolds.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Carb or manifold or exhaust problem hellllppppppppp

You have an air leak on the intake side of the motor. Get new carb and carb manifold gaskets. Tighten the bolts down evenly in three stages. For the exhaust, try the link below. It is a high temp silicone sealer.
