Question about 2004 Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade
After I ride the bike for a few minutes, at idle (RPM at 1300) jump to 2500 back down and many times will just die. Moreover, the bike can not hold a constant speed (like at 40, or 55). If I try to keep it at one speed, it starts to get jumpy like if not enough fuel is going to the engine. I always have the keep increasing my speed to avoid this.
A few times last year, I was riding around 70MPH, and the bike rpm dropped Immediately to 3000RPM and the right light when on. I pulled over, and turned off the bike. Immediately turned it back on, and the problem when away for a little while.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I took it to the dealer, and they were not able to reproduce it. However, I can and dealer is not helpful
How old is the battery in the bike? i just worked on a bike recently that wouldn't run right until i installed a new battery. have you ever changed out the plugs? also, make sure your air filter element is clean.
