You need need to check the pulsar pick up ( like points for a cdi style ignition) , the coils, and the spark plug caps. If any of these are bad replace them. If all test good then your problem is a bad cdi box.

My bike runs, idles cuts at 40% if opened any further dies and does not recover unless closed, what is the problem?

Common idleing is corrected by points on many blades. Clean the points and reset distributor and timing. Check loose covers for water seapage and seal when recommended by the mnfctr.

check the coil and the ignition module in the distributor as it may be a unit overheating and breaking down electrically.

Bike cuts out at running temperature

You actually may have two problems. First, if you have a spark from a coil, find out why. May be a bad or loose connection. when coils get hot their resistance increases. A leak or bad connection will show up quicker when hot. If the spark comes from the body of the coil, replace it.
Second, your starter may be breaking down when hot. Check the brushes and coils in the starter motor. The same discussion about loose connections also will apply to the starter.
good luck

Cuts off when it gets hot

The most likely problem is that the coil/s are failing. When a coil heats up it expands, this causes any breaks to open up. When it cools the break will close again. This will only happen with a fatigue break in the windings of the coil. I hope this helps and at least points you in the right direction.

When the engine is hot and you shot the the engine off and then you start it up again I am having hard time start it up.

If I recall correctly this bike has C.D.I. but down on the crank are two pick up coils. If this is the bike I'm thinking of these coils are bad for breaking inside. When you cold start the break is together but when they get warm the break expands apart and you have trouble restarting.Does one of the pistons cut out when you are riding along? If yes this is most likely the problem

Keeps makeing the motorbike cut out when running

these bikes have a habit of the coils breaking down if this is your problem you will find, 1 bike runs very poorly between 1 and 4000 revs, 2 after heating up gradually gets worse and 3 eventually (prob after 15 mins or so) the culperate coil completly breaks down and the bike wont start for a while, or until cool again. replace coil should be fine (there are 4 single coil packs test with an ohm meter to see which one it is think the tolerance should be bteween 7.5 and 9. or buy full set second hand) possibly a blocked breather on ur feul tank also check this first blow some compressed air up the breather to make sure it clear this can cause a vacum and prevent fuel traveling down to the pump, this would be an easy fix.

Stops firing on middle 2 cylinders when it gets to running temp

The coil is probably breaking down internally when the heat rises. The only other possibility is the electronic ignition going bad. Have a dealer check the bike before spending bucks on a new coil when the old one may actually be good.

Please rate this solution. Thanks! :)

If battery is running down. The engine may not be charging the battery. Check charging system. If running on battery, the bike will run fine for awhile then die as the battery can no longer provide spark to the engine. If charging system is less than 13.0 volts could be a ad stator or regulator. Make sure the battery posts are clean, a bad ground can cause problems too.

When hot,the engine is missing.

Sounds like coil is breaking down.Try pouring a little water around the base of the coil with car running if engine stops change coil.It could also be the ignition module heating up like the coil and breaking down.Engine analyser in workshop would very quickly pick up which of the two items is at fault.
