Hi, Tom and the usual suspects are:
1. Low coolant level.
2. Restricted radiator air flow.
3. Faulty thermostat.
4. Coolant pump or fans inoperative.
5. Vent hose crimped.
6. Air in the coolant and needs bleeding.
7. Engine idling too long or bike moving too slow.
8. Coolant too old needs to be replaced.

Motors. temperature rising/oveheating in traffic

When you observe your temperature guage climbing into the red while in trafiic, open your windows (depending on weather) and turn your heater on full blast until it goes into normal temperature again. once the traffic has cleared find a local garage and have you water level and cooling fan operation checked. Do not attempt to open the radiator or expansion tank when hot as this could result in serious injury.

Engine temperature

If you are asking the normal position of the temperature gauge needle in normal operating mode it will be about half way in the gauge reading( between cold and hot). IT may vary about a needle width regardless of the load on the engine and if it climbs up in traffic then you have a problem with the fan operation

My Vitapur water cooler hot water doesn't produce hot water anymore and the light just blinks how can I fix this

It may have a thermal fuse inside. They are usually either a inline cylinder or a press-fit cylinder in shape. They will have a maximum temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. We carry the inline cylinder shaped ones at my store ( from NTE, but you would need the part number to find them on my website:

1998 blazer excessive engine heat when a/c is on

I would look at restrictions in the radiator, both air flow and coolant flow.
Also make sure the radiator fan is running at full speed.

I drive a 2006 dts which i've had for 1 year. A week after I had the car the temperature gauge went to red when I was in traffic. I took it to cadillac, they replaced the engine, radiator and hoses

Temp is going up, well that doesn't mean anything unless it actually overheats, in traffic it can reach 240 F and present no danger of engine damage. If this is not the case DO NOT DRIVE THIS UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS FOUND AND REPAIRED UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY ANOTHER ENGINE JOB.

My temperature has been rising in my saturn if i sit very long in traffic. What could this be?

As long as the temperature isn't spiking and the fan is turning on. It is normal for the temperature to rise to halfway on the gauge and then for the radiator fan to kick on. Sitting in traffic will normally do this.
