Keep in mind a blown fuse indicates and overload situation.
There is a short somewhere in the system.
Have the wiring system checked.
Things you can do yourself,
1. Check for water collection in the turn signals or instrument panel.
(If found dry out and seal to prevent repeat contamination)
Blinkers easy.... instrument panel you may want some professional.:)
2. Turn on blinkers and twist the handle bars full left then full right.
If the fuse blows during either of these two operations note which one.
Left or right then check the wiring running to that blinker. You may
find the short this way.
3. Check the battery before and after engine start up.
Your voltage should be around 12.6 volts rested. Engine not running.
Your voltage will probably be 13 volts Plus with the engine running.
Over 14 volts this could be why the fuse is blowing.
Have the rectifier checked.

Gel-cells resting voltage 12.9 to 13 volts

The basics:
First things first. A 12-volt battery is not a 12-volt battery. Twelve volts is just a nominal, convenient term used to distinguish one battery from another. A fully-charged 12-volt battery, allowed to "rest" for a few hours (or days) with no load being drawn from it (or charge going to it), will balance out its charge and measure about 12.6 volts between terminals.
When a battery reads only 12 volts under the above conditions, it's almost fully depleted. Actually, if a battery's resting voltage is only 12.0 to 12.1 it means only 20 to 25% of its useful energy remains. It's either a goner or it has been deep cycled, and a battery can only be deep-cycled a limited number of times before it is indeed dead.

Hope this helps!

2003 cavalier turn signal fuse

The 10A TURN-B/U fuse in the instrument panel fuse block feeds the turn/hazard flasher and the back-up lamps. There could be a short in the flasher, the turn signal/multifunction switch, or the lamps/sockets. There also could be a short in the back-up lamp circuit

15 amp fuse blows and no running lights. What's wrong?

Hi Anonymous, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and connect it to the power side of the, circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, start by tracking the out bound wire towards the ignition switch and beyond if necessary, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. 2006 f150 keeps blowing turn signal fuse

It sounds like the fuse is doing what it is supposed to do, and burning out when there is a short circuit. Check the wiring from the fuse block back to the lights and pay special attention to the trailer connection.

My 88 Acura the 7.5A fuse to the turn signal backup/light blows.

Get an exact replacement at a junk yard. It must be for the same transmission, etc. You won't get too far without the gages. The fuses are sized for the load and I think you are on the right track. Putting a larger amperage is never a solution. Remember, all of the lights have a corresponding "message" lamp on the little car/door ajar key on that cluster.
