There will be no documented info on clutch cable length. You should be able to get the proper cable from the dealership using the VIN#

Would any other clutch cable work for a 06 ninja 650r need one asap an no one has one in stock in my area

The ER6 uses the same one.
part number is 54011-0098 for both. Nothing from other bikes. if you find one that is slightly longer from another manufacturer, that works. I just dont' know the stock length of yours and don't have suggestions for longer ones. It is a all a question of whether or not your dealer would be willing to help you if you bring your dead cable in - he might try matching the length for you and he might not.

My 2006 kawasaki vulcan vn2000 back fires when downhills at releasing the accelerator

Does this have a modified (Non-Stock) exhaust system? If so, It's probably the reed valves. (Large bore Kawasaki bikes are known for it) Look at this page for a few fixes:

Rmz 250 09 model with new clutch cable fitted must be adjusted fully out to get clutch to operate

Compare the old cable to the new cable. The outside casings should be the same length and the Inside cable should also be the same length. The dealer may have supplied you with the wrong cable. If the cable is the correct one then check the positioning of the clutch release cam.

I just bought an 07 tundra double cab trd it has a 3'' daystar body lift I want to know how and what would be the best way to remove it

First you need to get a set of stock body bolts. Then remove the body bolts from the truck. Jack up the body slightly and remove the 3 inch spacers one at a time from between the body and the frame. Then let the body back down on the the stock rubber mount and put a stock length bolt back in.

Need to replace clutch cable on a 2002 H-D Dyna, FXD. Are there "exploded" views of the clutch cable assembly showing how to remove and replace the cable from the clutch? The cable broke at the hand-grip...

To replace the cable, you are going to have to remove the cover on the end of the right side of the transmission. Just follow the cable and see where it goes into transmission. You may have to remove exhaust pipes to do this. The threaded cable end screws into this cover. If the handlebars are the stock type bars, simply replace with a stock cable. If the bars have been changed, you'll have to match the overall cable length to get the right cable.

Clutch cable adjusters

Bowden cables like your clutch cable work on the law of the lever. Think of lifting up a heavy weight hanging on a rope using a lever balanced on a fulcrum. The rope is in tension and the fulcrum is in compression. To adjust the point of lift you could either vary the length of the rope or adjust the height of the fulcrum. The outer sleeve of your clutch cable is made out of plastic-coated steel, square-section wire and is resistant to compression forces along its length. This outer sleeve works as your fulcrum and, because it is flexible, lets you put it where it is needed - at the end of your handlebar. The cable inner is like the rope in the lever example and resists only stretching forces. It is threaded down through that snaking fulcrum back to where control movement is needed. The cable adjusters let you fine tune the length of the fulcrum, and therefore the lift range of the inner cable.,,,
