Question about 2005 Honda CRF 250 R
Wat nut must I take out wen change gear box oil
What you are looking for is a plug that has a hex(for allen wrench) in the middle. It should be on the bottom of the transmission, assuming this is a manual transmission. To refill a manual trans, after putting the drain plug back in, Remove the plug on the side of the trans. Same thing on the tool or the plug has a square head. You can use a crescent wrench on the square. Fill the trans thrrough the side hole with the proper oil. Proper level is aproximately 1/8" from bottom of threads of hole Put you pinky in in the hole straight and push downward until the tip of your finger touches oil. Keep your finger straight. Theskin/meat on your finger will give about 1/8" as you press down. That done, chk both plugs and you're done.
If this is an automatic trans, the pan needs to be taken down to change oil. Good Luck.
